Here are some tips for taking care of natural-fiber sheets:
ROTATE SHEETS: Having at least two sets per bed will make them last longer.
USE A FRONT-LOADING WASHER: No Agitator means fabrics get roughed up less.
WASH IN WARM WATER: Use a gentle detergent or Linen Wash.
SKIP THE FABRIC SOFTENER: It coats sheets and can cause pilling.
RINSE TWICE: This removes all traces of soap.
DRYING: Line dry or use a low heat setting in the dryer to prevent damage from excess high temperatures.
REMOVE AND FOLD SHEETS WHILE THEY ARE STILL VERY SLIGHTLY DAMP.
STORAGE: Store clean linens and sheets in a well-ventilated closet.
CHECK LABELS: Check the manufacturer's care instructions, usually found on the label.
