Bed Skirt
An attractive covering for the space from the mattress to the floor. Also known as bed ruffle or dust ruffle. Bed skirts are a visual anchor which completes the overall ambiance. Traditionally, bed skirts are sewn to a lining or platform that slips between the mattress and box spring. To accommodate a higher antique bed, slip one bed skirt between the mattress and box spring and another under the box spring.

Envelope Pillow
A small pillow enclosed in a fabric envelope with a flap.
Jacquard
Fabric woven on a special loom to create a textured, dimensional design through the use of different types of yarn and stitch patterns.
Mattress Pad
Mattress pads cover your mattress and come with either elastic to keep it in place (similar to a fitted sheet), or anchor bands. Mattress pads keep your mattress clean and dry, therefore protecting your investment.

Sateen
A smooth satin surface fabric woven with a floating thread to create a shimmer patina.
Thread Count
The number of threads per square inch of fabric. It is one of the indicators used in evaluating the smoothness and quality of the fabric. The finish and type of cotton are equally important criteria in determining fabric quality.
Throws
Small-size soft blankets that provide warmth as well as an additional element of texture on the bed or sofa.
Yarn Dyed Plaid
A design created by multi-yarns dyed in various colors and then woven on a loom to create a specific plaid pattern.
